Phwoar, this comment board could go on forever just for the view. :D

hahah....yes, but poor AJ...I probably should have included one rugby cheerleader, but the trouble is...I don't think they belong on at a rugby match, too distracting....so I can't be seen to be encouraging it!! ;))))

anna said...

Definitely 'Breedable'.... luvverly bits of eye candy ;)

Are we using this board now?

AJ... any comments?

:D

Anonymous said...

Hi All,

have to work today.

we could use this, Anna, but I see AJ is boycotting here at the moment....

c'mon, AJ....we know you like rugby.... ;))

if you insist, though, I'll make updates for a new posting room..... :DDDDD

Mel :)

Can't believe how you wifies use and abuse us males as nothing more than sex objects!!!:)

The boy in the lower picture obviously keeps a pair of spare socks in his pants!

Peajay said...

Could that be the voice of experience speaking AJ? :D

AJ Fife said...

I'd forgotten just how sharp that pesky Peajay can be!:DD

Happy Valentine's Day ;))

AJ Fife said...

Thank goodness for Tesco's special Valentine Day offers!!:)))

Life saver!:D

Anna,

Do you bring out the furry handcuffs tonight?

Anonymous said...

oh, AJ, you're all heart!! ;)))

Anna, if you can't find your handcuffs, I'll express ship mine, I've got a second pair... ;DDD

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!

Mel :Dx

anna said...

Thanks for the offer Melanie... but I only ever use my special leopard skin ones, don't I AJ? ;)X

Faux leopard of course ! :D

KK's girlfriend (the tomboy one) has just been round with a card for him and a present :)

He had already done a card for her ... but he had to improvise with the present and gave her a McDonald's toy that he got on Tue and hadn't opened! :D :D Luckily it was a little furry dog so was fairly unisex! Phew! :D :D

I've made a comment on the future inventions board and the John Peel one ... but have decided to avoid the Scottish history one today.... I can't be bothered to refight Bannockburn or Culloden on St Val's Day!!

Love and peace to all :))

AJ Fife said...

Ah yes, once a WAF always a WAF!! ;)

I'm off>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

anna said...

You love it really .... ;)

Did you see that comment on the Celtic Lion board... someone was having a pop at you... AJ.... something about poison :)

What about a nice Celtic Leopard instead...

I like leopards .... :D

AJ Fife said...

Well I'll be darned! They've gone a got rid of that them message board!!:)

However, it sounds like my plan worked !:DD

AJ Fife said...

Hope all my cyber pals are well on this fine Friday?

Had to attend a funeral yesterday, which took up a large chunk of the day, and then of course, a special Valentine's Day evening with Mrs AJ!

Two glasses of Champers and I was snoring away like an auld Irish navvy! :D

Anonymous said...

Hi all!!

have to work today and tomorrow...so wishing you all a great weekend!!!!! :)))))))

Mel :)

anna said...

Hi all,

To be honest the most romantic thing that happened round here on St Val's Day was KK's friend turning up with his card :))

Mr A sent me a text which said "Happy Valentine's Day from a secret admirer"??? :D :D

He was going to send it from his mate's phone but just sent it from his own in the end. :D

I made his (and KK's) favourite chocolate mousse pudding yesterday and we had a bottle of wine between us!

Who says romance is dead after 20 odd years ?

Oh yeah and I got the leopard gear out, later on, as well !! ;)

AJ Fife said...

The mask too?????

Hi all,

Hope you had a good weekend ? :D

Anything interesting happening?

anna said...

I've commented on the Oasis board and the Murray one so far today.

You posting anywhere AJ? :))

AJ Fife said...

Hi Anna,

Can't get my post on to the Murray story! Maybe I'm being blocked again! Couln't anything on the sports stories for ages, but then miraculously I was allowed back on last week!:))

I'm battling against some bint called Joanna on the Berwick story and I added a wee comment on the gay fitba match, but they've pulled that thread already!:) I only mentioned Sol Campbell, Ashley Cole and Will Young!!:D

The Scotsman has lost its sense of humour!:DD

Have you got the Vicar's wife in?

anna said...

That bint Joanna has a lot to say for herself :D :D

I just can't take the Berwick story seriously .. I mean its on ITV for a start - bound to be cheap TV! Don't think I'll bother missing Eastenders for it tho'!

Do you think Bradley will take Slapper Stacy back? Isn't Max awful - what a nasty man he is... altho' his bro' Jack is fairly gorgeous - can't believe they're related! :D

I didn't see the gay football story - the Scotsman are asking for trouble with that one! :D

AJ Fife said...

The ginger Max is a unlikely Don Juan and Bradley is a plonker! Stacey will have the eejit eating out her hand in no time, but will Max be able to keep it zipped?

These are the important issues and nowhere to be seen on the Scotsman!:DD

Talking of mince, you're bang on about ITV! Adverts are tedious in the extreme. :(

anna said...

Poor Bradley.... such a sap - you're right he'll be putty in her hands.

I think the gorgeous Jack will probably have a roll around with Tanya next :)) Just in the guise of a bit of brother-in-law comforting - you understand ;)

Lucky Tanya. :D :D

The only good thing on ITV is Corrie Orrie... did you watch the wedding? How long before Carla and Liam get it on again?

You're right these are the issues the Scotsman should be addressing. Maybe they could have a battle of the soaps in Berwick upon Tweed - refight one of Eddie 1's old battles. Whoever wins gets to be king of B upon T! :D

AJ Fife said...

I tell you what, that Carla is quality crumpet and with her dark volumptious looks, I reckon she knows stuff too....

AJ Fife said...

Not that I spend time watching soaps...:DD

anna said...

She knows stuff ????

I'm not even going to ask ! :D :D :D

I know what you mean - I'm far too busy to waste my time watching soaps .. or blogging away on the internet come to that!

AJ Fife said...

Me too!:DD

Aye, she definately "knows stuff", plus she runs an underwear factory!

It's a bit like Billy Bunter running a sweetie shop!!

Phwoarr...

anna said...

So - now we know that your fantasy woman is Carla - the Cruella DeVil of Corrie Orrie.

I loved the way they had her in black and scarlet at the wedding and goody two shoes Maria all in virginal (that's a laugh!) white.

Mind you have to say that I fancy Tony more than Liam.. so Carla should lure him back again ;)

Mel

ps, don't like how blogger changed the sign in, oh well!

anna said...

Hi Melanie

Check out the Berwick on Tweed story in the Politics section.

Its only fair that AJ has a bit of eye candy to look at.... after all he has to put up with the breedable blokes on this blog! ;))

Anonymous said...

found it, but the clock has rung...AJ's headin home, and you'll be startin yer men's dinner... ah well! ;))

AJ Fife said...

She aint no swamp donkey, that's for sure!

My work computer wouldn't let me open that link Anna, was it x rated?

Hi Mel,

Anna's leading me astray again, puting temptation in my path, but I know you can balance that out!;)

AJ Fife said...

Oops the time is almost here to clear off!

Have a great day Mel, and Anna......Emerdale Farm starts at 7! ;DD

Anonymous said...

See ya, AJ

Anna,
I'll be around today to chat...let me know if you see anything more on the Scotsman. I'm not sure that I'll wade into the Berwick story this late
...hey check out my other blog...new diet strategy....ingest tapeworms, and eat as much as you want without gaining weight!!! ;)))

anna said...

Emmerdale Farm AJ?? Now, you're showing your age... its been Emmerdale for yonks. Do you remember the good old days of old Sam, Ma Sugden, Jack and Joe? Aye, them wert days soft lad :))

Melanie,

I remember doing tapeworms in Biol at school. They used to say to get rid of one you had to starve yourself and then put a bit of food on the end of your tongue and the tapeworm would crawl up and get it..... then I suppose you could pull it out! :( Gross!

I never knew if any of that was true or not..... but I was paranoid about getting a tapeworm.... still have to have my pork really, well done :))

His Girl Friday said...

yeeuch...don't like worms of any kind...never could bait my own fishing hook!! ;)

creepy with the tapeworms, Anna...me the same, cooked pork, and shoes on around barn animals (pinworms, I think, in the dung)

have to study for some tests that are on Tuesday, work stuff, scenarios and 'what would you do if'...ugh, I hate it...total performance anxiety!! :/ :)

anna said...

Hi all,

I see the Berwick story is still grinding on :)

I like the Phil the Nazi story.... thought your comment was funny AJ :D

Poor Al Fayed ... I sort of feel sorry for him... but I think he's a bit bonkers.

All these inquests must be costing a fortune though.... they should have been wearing seatbelts.

AJ Fife said...

Anna,

Like you, I reckon the seatbelt issue, however boring, is the critical element to the deaths! I've no doubt that they were being pursued by photographers, if they had behaved like 99% of people who use cars and wore seatbelts, they'd still be alive!

She and Dodi could've had a wee Al Fayed jnr, a great big wedding do (boiled sheeps eyes and fried cobra)and everyone would've lived happily ever after.

Plus Di might've met some of the actual people who lay landmines, through Dodi's extensive Middle Eastern contacts!

anna said...

"Plus Di might've met some of the actual people who lay landmines, through Dodi's extensive Middle Eastern contacts!"

:D :D :D ... ah ye've a wicked tongue, laddie, so ye have! :D :D

Did you see Claire massaging Ian's back last night..... how horrible was that... they should have put a warning on beforehand :)

AJ Fife said...

I tell you what, that Claire has grown up into quite a wumin!!:DDD

Ian's weasley grin put me aff ma supper though!:D

You better check the Di story again and tell me how long my comment will last before getting pulled!:DDD

What about that Carla? What a temptress! :P

anna said...

I was telling Mr A about your Carla comment - she knows stuff! He wasn't sure which one she was (he doesn't watch it) - but I pointed her out to him and ..... the naughty boy agreed with you! :D

He'll probably start watching it now! Nah.... he'll do what he always does - come in half way through, ask 'who's that?' 'whats that all about?' etc, etc... and then go out. I wish he'd just sit down and watch sometimes GRRR!! :D :D

The Diana comment hasn't been pulled yet... its only a matter of time! :D

anna said...

I see there's an online poll on the Scotsman about Frank Haddon resigning if Scotland lose this weekend.

I've voted 'NO' 3 times now. Well, we can't have the man resigning ..... got to think of England! :D

Just shows you what these online polls are worth tho'.... Diddley Squat! :D

His Girl Friday said...

oh, Anna, that was bad... ;)))

Scotland has it in them, I think they just need the coach to pull them together better, and instill them the can-do attitude. They need to 'want' the win...aside from that, yes strategies, and playing your players well, etc
(it's so easy to 'sideline' coach, isn't it??!! ;D)

anna said...

Hi Melanie :)

They need to get Chris Paterson on the pitch from the off...... I have to have something nice to look at ;)

There's something cute about that guy...... have I mentioned that before? :D

Its really cold here at the moment .... what's it like in CA? It was -6 yesterday morning and its been very, foggy .... Yuk! :(

His Girl Friday said...

Hi Anna, strange weather here...one day spring, next it's cold and windy, and now a storm's trying to blow in.

haha, and here I thought you like Ronan! ;)

anna said...

I'm fairly fickle Melanie :D :D :D

Haven't you noticed ? :D

anna said...

Yummy bit of eye candy here for you Melanie!

AJ Fife said...

Anna,

You're gettin' worse! MrA has his hands full to be sure to be sure!:D

Anonymous said...

Hi all,

have to work today but I'll hopefully be on in your afternoon tomorrow.

hmmmm, I'll be thinking about that youtube vid all day now...the suspense will be a killer!!! ;DDDDD

I've just watched the most unusual sport on Setanta last nite.....gaelic football; it looked like a mix of field hockey, soccer/football, basketball, and touch rubgy....:/ :))))

talk with ya'll later!! :)))

Mel

Peajay said...

What more could you possibly want from life? A hunk and chocolate!! Perfection!!! :D

anna said...

Peajay... nice to hear from you again :))

How's things?

Have you seen the other Aero advert with that hunk in? The one where one woman says to her pal at the end when told that he's been explaining how the bubbles get into the Aero: "Oh, has he been talking then"!

I will confess here and now that the first time I saw that advert I was exactly the same as that woman! :D

Mr A noticed as well... he said my mouth was just about hanging open :D :D

AJ... .they say women get worse as they get older .... it must be my age! :D

AJ Fife said...

Bloomin' ada!!

You wifies are just getting your own back for 30 years of flake adverts!:D

Hi Peajay, how's it hangin'?

Anna,

I think the Natasha thread might be going right doon hill!:DD

Peajay said...

Hi Anna
I don't get many opportunities to watch tv channels that actually have adverts on so I've not glimpsed any chocolate eating hunks. I don't have possession of the remote control, it's a man thing.
Hi AJ
It's hanging limp and flacid how aboot yerself?
Those flake ads were dreadful for suggestive innuendo, betcha loved them. :D

AJ Fife said...

Peajay,

About the same honey:(

How's the studying going?

AJ Fife said...

However, a flake advert or two, and that situation could change in a flash!!:D

Peajay said...

I'm enjoying the studying side of things AJ, unfortunately the lightweight student isn't. Many disabled students feel the need to work doubly hard in order to prove that they can be as good as those more able bodied, mine feels the opposite is suitable.
I especially enjoy Friday mornings when he has to do life drawing so I join in and have a thoroughly engrossing 3 hours.
How's the new daddy side of things?

Anonymous said...

Hi all,

Anna, the advert was fun, but he was a little 'too pretty' for me! ;))

Well, crazy day at work; you gotta wonder if it was the lunar eclipse...It was pretty neat to watch, though!

time to kick up the feet, turn on the telly, and have a kid fetch me up a glass of vino...I've even taught them how to pour without spilling...gotta teach 'em those lifeskills, ya know!!! ;DDDDD

talk with ya soon! :))

Mel :)

Melanie said...

well, this weekend should proove interesting with Scotland v Ireland, and England v France....don't spill the beans, as I'll be watching my late Sat and Sunday for the delay :)))))

any posting on the Scotsman?? It's hard to do anymore with the busy schedule, ah well, we must do what we must!! ;)

anna said...

Hi all,

Sprained my ankle on Friday, fell over in the school hall !! (Too much gin probably :D)... so I've been hobbling and resting it all weekend.

Its still a bit sore and I've got some cracking bruises but the swelling has gone down, so hopefully its on the mend now.

Hope you're all OK?

I've commented on the abortion story (I don't know why - it gets far too heated!) and the school dinners one.

Peajay said...

Poor you Anna, hope it gets better soon. You, of all people, should know ot to run in the school hall! :D

Melanie said...

Hi all!

Anna, ouch, sorry to hear that!! enjoy the feet up and yer men waiting on ya, though!!! ;DDDD

Hi Peajay! :)

Okay, AJ, AJ, craic is calling! :)

I'll have a look at the stories, Anna

Melanie said...

haven't found the school dinners one yet, but the abortion what had some good discourse, actually. Nicely said, Joanna! :)

AJ Fife said...

Drat, I missed that one Mel!:(

Hope everyone is OK and tell you there's a potentially good story about Jack Vettriano and Pricess Zara Whatsherface! :D

Doreen is back!!!

anna said...

Hi all,

Crikey, talk about overkill on the Harry story. There were 8 pages devoted to it in the Times, the TV news were banging on about it all night and the Scotsman has at least 4 (maybe more) articles. Big story ... soldier goes to war!

Anyway, AJ.. your post 1 was a bit of a conspiracy theory..... are you pandering to the nutters or do you think its all a big fairy tale?

Kimba's on your case .... she's always trying to chat you up I've noticed ;D :D :D

AJ Fife said...

Hi Anna,

Wasn't it ridiculous last night! Breaking News - apart from the fact there's a BBC documentary team following him everywhere! Ghurkas have been protecting him!

Maybe I'm being overly cynical, but I feel the poor guy is an unwitting pawn of the government. A blatant attempt to get the public onside with regards to an extremely unpopular war.

I just threw the bit about filming in Morocco in, for the purposes of shit stirring you understand!:D

I reckon you're just as sceptical as well?!?

I could be wrong of course! :D

anna said...

I am AJ.. the way the media have reacted to this indicates they are being fed by the government machine.

The bit about him being looked after by the Gurkhas is ironic, especially after the disgraceful way MOD has mucked about with their pensions.

When I was in the Falklands (pull up a sandbag time!) I, got invited to a Gurkha curry evening. It was great fun, and the food was fabulous :))

I reckon Kimba secretly fancies you :))

AJ Fife said...

Of course she does!!:D Did you see her lada mistype? Priceless!:DD

Curry Evening???? Is that what they called it! ;))

anna said...

Behave yourself ... I wasn't the only person there - a lot of people were invited! :D

Anyway, they were perfect gentlemen, or else I wouldn't have gone :)

Kimba is a troll, but she definitely has the hots for you! :D

anna said...

AJ
Check out the Harry pulled out of Afghanistan blog... I've now suggested you might be my 'other half' and you've been to Afghanistan! :D :D

Kimba was riling me!! :D :D :D :D

AJ Fife said...

Anna,

I had to nip out for a while, but imagine my delight when I read the Kimba squabbles!:DD

She'll be confused now, that's for sure, and she reckons you're a traitor!:DD

It's good to be a blogger today!:D

anna said...

I've added some more fuel to the fire :D :D

I'm on a hot date with Osama now :D

Mind you, we shoudn't encourage her... she is a total troll, I bet Bong on the other thread is her as well.

AJ Fife said...

Similar style!

Makes you wonder who we actually talk to on those boards:(

Creepy eh?

Of course we're all perfectly normal and respectable citizens.....now tell me Anna...what were those wee Ghurka fellas like? :DD

Melanie said...

Hi all!1

had to laugh because the Harry story was all over Fox and CNN yest...in the work breakroom, one can only do so much...news is the past-time for me! ;)

will check out the Scotsman stories, or in reality, your postings!! :)

anna said...

I already said.... they were perfect (little) gents :) Made good curry as well.

Unlike some of the paras and the green jackets..... who often had a punch up with each other. I had nothing to do with them .... of course. Much too rough for us RAF types :))

Kimba definitely has a screw loose tho' ..... shame that it claims to be English .... shows the rest of the county up! :D

anna said...

That should be country - altho' she is from Middlesboro' so.... maybe that's the explanation :D :D

Hi Melanie :))

All well ?

anna said...

I think 'happy english' is the same person as kimba, bong and lia etc.

Its the use of lower case all the time that gives it away :)

signed:

Miss Marple :)

AJ Fife said...

Hi Mel,

The Harry story is the big news here! Unbelievably!!:DD

Anna,

I better ask Kimba if she's Bong!!:D

Did any of the Ghurkas unsheath their Kukris?

Melanie said...

Hi Anna aka Miss Marple!

you wonder with these trolls, if they're little old ladies just come back from bingo and have nothing better to do!! ;)))

Hi AJ,

unsheath what??!! ;)

AJ Fife said...

Mel,

A Kukri is a Ghurka's weapon and once unsheathed it has to draw an enemy's blood.

It's a knife, in case you're getting excited! :D

Look it up on Wikipedia, it's all facinating stuff!

AJ Fife said...

In the bad old days of the British Empire, Britain only conquered countries where the average height was 4ft 11. The wee Ghurkas however, were hardy pups, so instead of fighting them, the British Army gave them a job!

Melanie said...

haha...AJ, I figured it was that :)

Hey, I bet ya'll are happy India was a colony; now that you get to enjoy all that yummy curry!!

anna said...

Bong has now obviously been banned and has reincarnated as Bongnogo - postively deranged.

You'd think the Scotsman could send a laser jet down his/her computer and blow it up or something?

Could the Scots not invent something like that? :D :D

Melanie said...

Anna,
with the right conviction, I think the Scots can invent anything they want to!! :))

Melanie said...

on the main Harry story....see the 'koo de taunt' that K left for the both of you!!

anna said...

Yeah, I saw it Melanie... but its not worth wasting time on.

What is it they say? Don't feed the troll :D

Speak to you later :))

I've commented on the Water story - half heartedly - the EEN story about the Olympics - even more half heartedly and the nude surfers in Barra.... surprised not to see you on there - Lanna and AJ....especially as Dave from Barra says he was one of the surfers !! :D

I still think happy english is kimba.... they're always on the same board.
